The WashULaw JSD degree is designed for attorneys pursuing a career in academia, policy, or scholarly legal research. The JSD program is very small and geared towards exceptional candidates who have a sophisticated scholarly focus. The JSD degree program requires a minimum of four years to complete and prospective students come to us with a well-developed thesis proposal.
